Opening a pack on VaulterX is buying a real, graded card with a surprise inside. It is a hobby, not a way to make money: every pack is priced above the average value of what it holds, and most pulls are worth less than the pack. This page explains the tools we give you to keep it that way, and where to turn if it stops being fun.
You must be 18 or older and live in a US state where we offer the service. We ask for your date of birth and state before your first pack, and we verify a government ID and a live selfie through Stripe before any cash leaves your account.
Some states are not served. If you tell us you live in one, or the network says you are in one, you cannot buy on VaulterX. If you have a balance or cards with us, support@vaulterx.com will return what is yours.
Money you add to your balance is store credit for packs and the marketplace. It cannot be withdrawn.
Money you earn by selling a card, either to us through Instant Buyback or to another collector on the marketplace, can be withdrawn once your identity is verified. Withdrawals are capped at $10,000 a day, leave after a 24-hour hold, and past $600 in a calendar year Stripe collects your tax details.
Under Account, Play safely, you can cap how much you add per day, week and month. Lowering a limit applies immediately. Raising one takes effect 24 hours later, so a limit cannot be undone in the same sitting it is about to bite.
From the same page you can close your account to packs, deposits and marketplace buying for 24 hours, a week, 30 days, six months, or permanently. You keep your vault and can still sell back and withdraw. A break can be extended but never shortened, by you or by our support team.
Every pull is drawn from a public randomness beacon that neither we nor you can influence, and every receipt can be replayed to check the result: open any card in your vault and choose Verify this pull, or paste a claim id at vaulterx.com/verify. Odds and the remaining pool are shown before you buy. The reveal shows a result that was already decided; nothing in the animation changes what you pulled.
Spending more than you planned, chasing a pull to make up for the last one, hiding purchases from people close to you, or opening packs to deal with stress rather than for the cards. None of these mean anything is wrong with you. They are the moment to set a limit or take a break.
The National Council on Problem Gambling runs a free, confidential helpline, open 24 hours: call or text 1-800-GAMBLER (1-800-426-2537), or chat at ncpgambling.org.
You can also write to support@vaulterx.com and ask us to close your account to purchases. We will do it the same day and we will not try to talk you out of it.
